From January to May
Sana and Papo reside on their farm FINCA GUARAGUAO in
the south central mountains of Puerto Rico where for the past 20
years they have nurtured a close relationship with the surrounding
campesino community through the development and encouragement
of sustainable agriculture and eco tourism (sensitive to the local
community ecology)
PALMA
del MONTE & CASA del MUNDO. During
the process of educating their daughter (Tai) they have hosted
intercultural exchanges between students in Vermont & Puerto
Rico. In addition, both are professional musicians as the duo
TAINO
and
form the core of the larger musical ensemble CLAVE
MUNDIAL.
All of this is part of their dedication to create positive cultural
bridges between the peoples of the North & South
